I have Calphalon pots and pans, this is my first tart pan and yes I purchased it because of the name brand and it is a good value. Nice weight and it is sturdy. I would buy again.

Like to make pies or quiche, then this baby rocks! The bottom pops out for easy crust removal and cleaning.

From the first time I used this pan, I knew it was the perfect pan. Making tarts in Calphalon bakeware is easier than pie. The sides release easily for a flawless tart.

This is the most wonderful tart pan,I have 4 or 5 other tart pans and this is the one I always use. The thing I love about it is how deep it is, most other tart pans are more shallow. You can find cheaper tart pans but I think this is well worth the price for how great it works and how beautiful your tarts and quiches will look!

This is the most beautiful and functional tart pan I own, among a dozen or so, the one I used time after time. The metal does not invite sticking, the pan heats properly so that browning occurs, the rolled edge makes it easy to grip, and it cleans up like a dream. I may donate all my other tart pans. This is THE one. Been baking over 50 years, never have had a better baking tool.

I was happy with the look and feel of this pan when I received it. However, when I actually tried to use it, I found several issues with the construction.
The pop-out bottom, which is advertised as making cleaning and serving easy, kept slipping when I was handling the pan. The lack of a grip makes carrying this pan a bit hard. If you grip the bottom, the pop-out piece may slip and shift the contents and even break the crust.
This pan is not at all suitable for pies and tarts with a porous crust and liquidy filling. Half the filling of my tart leaked out of the bottom since the pop-out bottom is not tightly sealed. From now on, I’ll only use this pan if I’m making a pie or tart with a solid pie shell and a solid filling.
