There are a lot of things to love about this pan. First, it’s heavy enough to keep eggs from scorching. Second, it’s truly non-stick…even using cooking spray, our omlettes slide out of the pan in one beautiful piece. Third, it’s got great heat conductivity, which allows for even cooking (critical with omlettes, fried eggs, etc.) Fourth, it’s so easy to clean, I reach for it for more than just cooking eggs. We use it as a small saute pan and our vegetables never stick.

The pan can also be put in the oven to keep food warm, a nice feature. This was a real find.

Can’t figure out why it is so cheap… unless they are changing styles. The handle on it is wonderful. The pan itself works great! We love it!

I like the size of the pan. It cooks evenly and I like the length of the handle

I have several calphalon pans. This one is just the right size and is used more than any others. Sits on the top of my stove so it is handy and cleans up so easily. Absolutely love it

I bought this pan to replace my old, worn-out, cheap Teflon pan that never quite worked right. Pay the extra money and get the good quality stuff! You know those commercials where the egg slides out of the pan and leaves barely any residue to be easily wiped clean? This pan really does that! Nice not to have two sets of utensils, too, as metal can be used on this sturdy surface.

    I’ll be buying more Calphalon.

This is the best skillet I have ever used. I never liked stainless because it sticks and it’s hard to keep clean. I love teflon, but there are some health issues with teflon. The best way to describe this skillet is that it’s between a teflon skillet and an iron skillet. Instead of a coating on the pan like teflon the surface on the calphalon is more built into the skillet and it’s durable as all get out.

My old non-stick fry pans reached the point of bonding with eggs no matter how much butter or oil I used. This new pan is slick enough to let me slide eggs out of the pan with a tilt. Nice balance, a good handle, and even cooking make this a winner at a very good price.

Product was exactly as described. However, I found it too large for an individual 3 medium or 2 extra large egg omlet. I use it for scrambled eggs, bacon, steaks, etc. I did subsequently purchase an 8″ omlet pan from the same manufacturer, and between the two pans I meet most of my small to medium pan needs.
